Industrial interior meets high technology furniture
The contrast between the pared back interior for this investment bank and its furniture couldn’t be greater. To tie the desks in with the interior decor, customised end panels and wood grain finishes were chosen for the product, creating a warm and tactile working environment for staff.
About the building
The building was constructed in 1908 as the world’s largest reinforced concrete building, so it already had a heavy industry feel as was also previously an old print works factory. The trading firm decided to keep many of the old natural raw aspects and much of the building was left exposed.
About the project
The client required a truly ergonomic solution with a natural and rustic look to fit around their large equipment.
Perfect solution
We provided 400 sit-stand positions that were our full trading plenum cooling solution. All of their equipment including their large monitors were nicely housed on their modern, natural and rustic looking desks. which matched the overall look of the office space.
